Physical Requirements | Sitting at a desk/computer; push or carry items up to 25 lbs; campus errands; and regular use of a computer and media technology.
Shift | Weekdays between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Job Summary
The Office of Undergraduate Research seeks a Student Marketing and Communications Assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year.Duties of this position include, but not limited to:
1. Assist with communication efforts through campus outreach, graphic design, social media scheduling, website updates, and digitalmarketing strategies
2. Curate content – develop written and visual communications for print, web and social media
3. Interview students, faculty and alumni
4. Create informational videos and photography
5. Assist with event management and execution including event marketing, setup, check-in of attendees, facilitation, cleanup and otherduties as assigned
6. Assist with general office support and customer service
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Experience with Microsoft Office, video editing and photography experience, and social media experience (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)
