Montana State University is hiring an Academic/Student Success Advisor. This role involves providing advising, student services, career services, and supporting academic success for Gallatin College programs, including Associate of Arts/Science and Workforce students at Gallatin College East and the MSU Campus.
Highlights
Coordinate projects or services in Admissions and Enrollment, Student Success Initiatives, or Career Placement.
Provide academic advising to degree-seeking students in Gallatin College AA/AS and Workforce programs.
Counsel students regarding academic planning, career goals, and college transition.
Conduct outreach to developmental students via Early Alert and midterm grade contacts.
Compile success data and prepare reports.
Collaborate daily with Gallatin College students, faculty, and staff and liaise with MSU Disability Services and other MSU resources.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience required.
Experience working with college students in advisory or mentoring roles necessary.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology required.
Salary is $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
