Job Summary | The Administrative Assistant is a key to enhancing the level of competency in patient care and optimal operations within the clinic.
This position will allow effective, efficient coordination of all components of multidisciplinary care. In addition, this position will use communication and organizational skills to facilitate the multidisciplinary coordination necessary for quality patient care and patient satisfaction by partnering with physicians, clinical staff within our clinic, and staff across a variety of UKHC clinical, surgical, and hospital areas, referring physicians, outside facilities, and the patient to achieve the desired outcome for our patients and their families.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of customer service, effective communication, quality and quantity of work, and professionalism. They will also be able to demonstrate competencies in developing and managing a program as well as the ability to coordinate marketing and outreach efforts.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? | No
Preferred Education/Experience | Bachelor’s degree and experience in scheduling patient appointments, test, research, and scans as well as working directly with providers and clinical staff preferred.
