Purpose: Supports the recruitment and enrollment of prospective undergraduate and graduate students for Purdue Polytechnic degree and certificate programs. Working within an assigned geographic territory, this position builds awareness of Purdue Polytechnic programs, identifies and cultivates prospective students, and implements outreach strategies that advance enrollment goals.

As a primary representative of Purdue Polytechnic, the Recruiter provides accurate, student-centered guidance on academic programs, admissions processes, and transfer-credit opportunities. The role collaborates with the Director to develop, evaluate, and refine recruitment, enrollment, and retention strategies that support program growth and student-success objectives.

Responsibilities:

Develops relationships with prospective students and key community partners
Delivers presentations and information sessions to large audiences on and off campus

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in college recruitment, college/university academic advising, sales, marketing, and/or public relations
Superior communication skills (spoken, written, group, individual)
Motivation to increase enrollment with minimal supervision
Advanced computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets, database usage, e-mail, and internet
Ability to work independently and maintain excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
Ability to travel within a specific geographic location to attend recruitment events
