SVCC is currently seeking an Assistant Coordinator for the Dual Enrollment Department. This position offers direct support to students, contributes to the daily functions of the Daniel Dual Enrollment Office, and provides administrative assistance to the Dual Enrollment Coordinator. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for students, school personnel, and the public, while delivering administrative support to the Dual Enrollment Coordinator through tasks such as data tracking, registration and eligibility coordination, and report generation.

The Assistant Coordinator for the Dual Enrollment is a vital role, guiding high school dual enrollment students through the admissions and registration process, evaluating admissions criteria, monitoring student progress, processing registrations using PeopleSoft, offering basic academic advising, generating reports and contracts, responding to inquiries via phone, and performing other related tasks as assigned. The Assistant Coordinator for the Dual Enrollment will provide direct student support and assist in the daily operations of the Daniel Dual Enrollment Office by facilitating admissions, registration, and advising processes.

Core responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Serves as the first point of contact for individuals entering the Dual Enrollment office. Coordinate dual enrollment course scheduling, student registration, enrollment management, and billing processes. Manage student records in the Student Information System (SIS), including schedules, grades, and required documentation (e.g., consents, approvals, verifications). Process drop/add, withdrawals, and graduation eligibility tasks in compliance with college policies. Assist students and families with applications, registration, advisement, and inquiries, providing professional and timely support. Prepare billing reports, enrollment summaries, and other data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and informed decision-making. Represent SVCC at high school events, career fairs, and open houses to promote dual enrollment opportunities. Provide logistical and administrative support for special events such as graduation ceremonies and adjunct faculty orientations. Support the Dual Enrollment Coordinator with additional responsibilities, while demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all interactions. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.

KSA's/Required Qualifications  | Ability to process registrations, add/drops, and maintain accurate records with a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy. Proficient in integrated software systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) with intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Skilled in generating reports, editing spreadsheets, and managing data effectively. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and professional communication skills, both oral and written.
