 Position Details 
Advertising/Posting Title  | ETS Business Operations Generalist
Posting Summary  | Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) is comprised of five main areas: Client Services, Network Services, Information Security Office, Systems Architecture & Administration, and Database Administrators/Enterprise Application Services.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Manager of ETS Business Operations, work with the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Deputy CIO and the ETS leadership team on the administrative tasks related to the business affairs of the division including financial, human resource, and planning needs and division-wide business policies, practices, and communications. Prioritize and contribute to the resolution of issues and problems related to the running of the unit, using discretion relative to the confidential nature of assignments. Draft correspondence and other documents ranging from routine to complex. Under the direction of the Manager of ETS Business Operations, contribute to research, data analysis, and preparation of related documentation and presentations both independently and in partnership with others. Provide information and support to the Manager of ETS Business Operations on resource allocation and personnel activities between Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) leadership team and the Financial Shared Services Center (FSSC) as needed. Follow defined HR workflows to support personnel actions including those for terminating employment, posting positions, filling positions and working on other paperwork to assist with FMLA, union responses, and similar actions. Confidentiality and discretion are mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)  | · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and two years of experience in administrative/business functions, such as personnel and finance.· Effective organizational, data analysis & documentation skills and ability to operate in a complex environment required.· Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.· Writing and business skills, with the ability for effective communication.· Effective interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact with diverse individuals and groups at all organizational levels.· Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.

Desirable Qualifications  | · Strong interpersonal communication to maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues,.· Active participation in creative problem solving.· Practical time management and project management skills.· Ability to adapt to multiple tasks and requests as well as the ability to change gears quickly and accept doing a variety of activities as part of the role.· Proficiency in the use of business technologies and Microsoft productivity applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).· Experience in Higher Education.
Anticipated Pay Range  | 55,000-60,000
