Opportunity Overview
This critical role is entrusted with fostering student success through precise and responsive advisement in experiential learning and service-related domains. The position demands unwavering support, professional coaching, and steadfast advocacy for students throughout the experiential learning lifecycle. Operating within a team-based framework, this role bears significant responsibility for managing and coordinating experiential learning applications from submission to registration, providing comprehensive advisement to all students, and serving as the primary liaison between students and experiential learning partners.
 
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of {NAME}'s curriculum and programs to provide students with thorough, accurate guidance throughout their experiential learning journey.
  • Meticulously prepare, document, track, and report experiential learning placements and student data to effectively assess student schedules, deliver appropriate advisement, and identify critical indicators necessitating proactive outreach to support student progression.
  • Conduct rigorous reviews and approvals of sites and preceptors based on academic rubrics, escalating to the academic team when necessary to ensure the highest standards of experiential learning.
  • Provide strategic coaching to students, guiding them to explore viable alternatives to overcome barriers in their experiential learning experience. Make judicious resource referrals when circumstances demand.
  • Actively cultivate and maintain professional relationships with internal functional areas and stakeholders to consistently deliver an optimal student experience.
  • Address student concerns with the utmost professionalism, utilizing advanced interpersonal and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Deliver comprehensive training, guidance, and coaching to peers as required, including the dissemination of best practices to colleagues to maintain a high standard of service.
  • Exemplify the TEACH values and foster a culture of CARE that aligns with our mission, vision, and purpose, serving as a role model for professional conduct.
  • Diligently support approval documentation requirements for student placement, working collaboratively with partners and across departments to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Engage in professional communication and strategic negotiation with partners and preceptors to safeguard student success and fortify partner relationships.
  • Orchestrate the development and execution of clinical affiliation agreements and other critical written support documentation with partners to facilitate experiential learning placements.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned with diligence and professionalism.
  • Strictly adhere to all policies and standards, maintaining the highest level of professional integrity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required and
  • 3 years customer service or related experience Preferred and
  • Experience with healthcare education Preferred and
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Required
  • Demonstrated strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome objections and facilitate negotiations.
  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks; ability to adapt to change and balance competing priorities.
  • Ability to work a variety of office hours including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Minimal travel may be required.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $24.04 and $28.85. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
