Job Summary

MathWorks is looking for an experienced Field Marketing Manager to collaborate with Sales, Technical, and Management teams to develop impactful marketing programs that enhance brand awareness, generate new leads, accelerate the sales pipeline, and engage existing customers.

You’ll work strategically to support North America’s lead and awareness generation process, and tactically to develop campaigns for specific sales teams, industries, and application areas. 

In this individual contributor position, you’ll advise and collaborate with Sales, Technical teams, and other Marketing groups across the organization and around the world.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strategic and creative mindset, who can demonstrate a data-driven approach to demand generation and has a proven history of cross-functional collaboration. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with commercial sales teams to understand their territories, industries, and accounts.
  • Using data and insights, define a marketing strategy that aligns with sales objectives, and incorporates inbound and outbound tactics to generate leads and engage customers.
  • Work with local and international teams to develop, implement, and measure demand generation programs with event-based and digital tactics.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content for integrated marketing and prospecting campaigns.
  • Perform detailed analysis of tactics, channels and offers with recommendations to improve results and processes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
  • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.

Additional Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have 10 years of professional marketing experience working in a high-tech B2B environment.
  • Capable of both hands-on execution and strategic thinking.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing multi-touch integrated marketing programs and demand generation campaigns in a B2B environment, with a strong understanding of lead generation.
  • Ability to partner effectively with senior sales teams, including sales, technical, and industry marketing stakeholders.
  • Excellent skills in project management, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, using data for decision-making.
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • May require domestic travel <10%.
