Position Overview
The Training Coordinator plays a key support role within the Talent Development Team, ensuring a smooth execution of all training-related activities across SiteOne. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing communication, logistics, and administrative functions that support the development of our 7000+ associates.
Primary responsibilities include managing SiteOne’s Talent platform (Cornerstone), responding to inquiries, and facilitating scheduling and delivery of training (classroom or online training). The Training Coordinator will also support scheduling, material printing, roster management, and other talent and organizational development tasks to improve processes.
This position requires proven ability to coordinate multiple projects of varying scope and size simultaneously working across teams including HR, category and various levels of the organization to ensure high-quality results.
Candidates need to be highly detail oriented, have a passion for success, and demonstrate superior customer service skills.
KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
- Act as the primary point of contact for SiteOne’s Talent platform inbox, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Partner with business leaders to determine training calendar and support materials
- Execute training communications to support competing initiatives
- Contribute to the team with ongoing efforts to improve training processes, systems, tools, internal workflows, and resources
- Gather training feedback from trainers and trainees to identify trends and opportunities, address concerns, and recommend improvements to training processes and tools.
- Maintain updated curriculum database (Cornerstone) and training records
- Coordinate classroom and online training events, including scheduling, registration support, material preparation, and roster management.
- Communicate available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Professional Development Team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques including on-the-job, virtual, classroom, and e-learning
