Physical Requirements  | Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods during meetings, consultations, or while working at a computer. Ability to move within and between offices or meeting spaces to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms, which may involve clear speech and active listening. Consistent ability to develop, implement, and oversee operational plans, including resource allocation and performance monitoring. Ability to engage with various HR software tools and platforms, which may involve fine motor skills for precise data entry. Minimal physical effort may be necessary, such as the ability to lift and carry materials like files, documents, or light office supplies (usually under 20 pounds). Ability to respond quickly and effectively during emergency situations or high-stress events.
Shift  | M – F 7:30a – 5p with additional hours as needed based on operational needs.
Job Summary  | We are seeking a strategic and dynamic HR Solution Center Manager responsible for the daily operations of our HR Solution Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused HR services to faculty, staff, students, and retirees. This role is pivotal in driving HR service excellence and operational efficiency within a major research university and UK HealthCare.

The HR Solution Center Manager will lead a team of HR professionals to address complex HR issues, and implement strategies to enhance the overall employee experience while maintaining compliance and managing risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the HR Solution Center team to provide exceptional service and support. Develop and implement HR strategies and procedures to drive operational efficiency. Resolve complex HR inquiries and issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws and institutional policies. Collaborate with stakeholders across the university including UK HealthCare to enhance HR service delivery. Utilize HR technology and data analytics to improve processes and inform strategic decision-making. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. HR experience in a higher education or healthcare environment preferred. Strong knowledge of HR compliance, relationship management, and service center operations. Experience leading HR teams, driving efficiency, and implementing strategic HR initiatives. Proficiency in HRIS systems and process automation tools.
