Key job responsibilities
- Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities
- Assisting customers with registration and presenting registered customers with Amazon Business account tours
- Meet or exceed targets for customer acquisition and customer spend adoption
- Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams
- Drive customer satisfaction
- Work closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders

About the team
The Amazon Business for Education team is dedicated to developing solutions inclusive of an expanded online store that combines the selection, convenience, and value customers have come to know and love from Amazon, with new features and unique benefits tailored to customers in the K-12 Education sector. The ideal candidate will have relevant K-12 Education consultative sales experience and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals and revenue targets.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Austin, TX, USA

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- 1+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of B2B sales experience
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a wide spectrum of customer engagement levels
- Demonstrated experience in positioning and selling solutions to new and existing customers and market segments

- Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
- 2+ years of professional or military experience
- 2+ years preferred sales experience
- Experience selling to procurement and/or supply chain roles
- Experience with customer facing communication including participating in-person or virtual customer meetings, product demonstrations, or trainings.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g., and other systems
