How can you make an impact?
As a Sales Representative, Northern Alabama, you'll focus on selling Core solutions to our Grades K-12 customer base, focusing on new, expansion and residual business.  This individual will create and execute strategic business territory plans that will increase sales according to the company growth expectations.  If you're curious and passionate about education - join us as we open doors. This position is remote, with 80% of the time being spent in the field. Candidates will reside in Northern Alabama, which includes the Greater Birmingham and above. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Attain and surpass sales goal with the proven ability to "advance" the sale and build customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration
  • Create and execute marketing and strategic territory plans, with excellent organization and follow-through. Prioritize customer base and ensure availability, visibility, and promotional activity with respect to that base
  • Develop and maintain customer profiles, build new contacts/customers, identify and influence customer needs
  • Understand how the business industry generates revenue and be able to craft competitive solutions
  • Communicate internally and externally to influence sales, marketing, and product development strategies
  • Learn independently; conduct research, synthesize and apply information from a variety of resources
  • Interact collaboratively with key stakeholders and internal partners, while supporting the growth and company climate within a tight-knit team

 

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of sales experience (K-12 publishing or EdTech preferred) or K-12 Education experience
  • Strong collaboration skills with adaptability to change
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to think independently
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and ability to travel frequently (up to 80%)

As this position requires traveling by car, we require candidates to have a valid driver's license with the ability to drive a car in the designated territory.  The pay range for this position is between $67,7000 - $85,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan is provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
